Effective and Energy efficient lighting design requires a complex blend of art & science.  The success of a lighting project is directly related to the designer’s ability to integrate a wide variety of knowledge, skills, and experience.  It is becoming ever more difficult to keep up with technology, human factor studies, control strategies, and design methods.  Many firms provide lighting design in addition to their core business.

Lighting design IS our core business. 

We believe it’s critical to remain product independent to encourage competitive quotes and provide access to the widest variety of product solutions. 

The green revolution has rightly encouraged us to use resources, including energy, wisely.  However if the only goal is energy efficiency, we should just shut the lights off and go home (which by the way can be a really nice place to go if it’s lit well).  Instead, each project must balance visual impact, budget, schedules, energy efficiency, and a host of other priorities.  Our job is to take you through that process to a solution that makes sense.

LEDs are the new panacea of the lighting world.  In time they will fulfill the promise, but one must carefully navigate the minefield of poor quality, premature failure, and other broken promises.  We can show you how LEDs can provide advantages in many applications when applied appropriately.
